Was his death a suicide or something deeper?....

Don Cornelius, the producer and television host who created the dance show "Soul Train," was found shot dead in his Los Angeles home early Wednesday morning in what reports are saying appears to be a suicide. He was 75.

Here's where the story takes a an even bigger turn... reports say it was a suicide but there was no suicide left. Not only that, Don Cornelius died with 2 life insurance policies worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the ex-wife he hated will get all the money!

During the divorce in 2009, Don said in legal docs,

'I am 72 years old. I have significant health issues. I want to finalize this divorce before I die."

The divorce was indeed finalized later that year, but there's a provision in the settlement agreement that says Don must make Viktoria the beneficiary of both of his life insurance policies -- totaling around $300,000 in benefits.

Under California law, if a policyholder commits suicide within 2 years of the time the policy is issued, the company can deny payment.....Sources say Don had the policy for more than 2 years, so Viktoria, his ex-wife that he despised, will get the money.

Don Cornelius' show, "Soul Train" was one of the longest-running syndicated shows in television history.

According to reports...... Washington state and Colorado are taking efforts to legalize marijuana for recreational use, despite fierce opposition from the federal government!

While 16 states, including Washington and Colorado, along with the nation’s capital, now allow marijuana use for medical purposes, cannabis remains an illegal narcotic under U.S. law — and public opinion is sharply divided on the merits of full legalization.

Even Progressive Insurance has joined in the fight to legalize recreationally..... it is said that organizers of the Washington effort have collected over $1.1 million in campaign funds from the insurance company!

Back in 2010, California voters turned back a ballot initiative to legalize marijuana for recreational use, in part because of concerns about how production and sale of the drug would be regulated.

In a recent interview, Drake says he's done with the Common beef and doesn't plan on continuing it any longer. When asked is he would be releasing a response diss track, Drizzy says,

No. Because despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity”…it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn’t a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.

This is one BIG family hustle!

Looks like T.I.'S been keeping busy lately, because in a preview for his next episode for of his reality show "Family Hustle" on VH1, Tiny tells him that "she's pregnant"!

Though it may seem like Tiny just popped out 7 kids, we are pretty sure only 2 of them are biologically hers, so this would be the couple's 3rd child together and T.I.'s 7th.

It may have taken T.I. a while to actually commit and marry Tiny, but now they seem to be putting the past behind them....

T.I. and Tiny have been through so much, including multiple arrests, rumors of infidelity and even losing a child.

Just a few days ago, the couple sat down with Sister 2 Sister Magazine to share how they’ve been able to withstand challenges that could have ruined other relationships.

Even your favorite celebrities are putting their bets in...and we're talking about the BIG bucks...

Cash Money CEO, Birdman, who has an estimated worth of over $100 million according to Forbes magazine, boasted on Twitter that he was going to bet $5 million dollars on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots because his nephew, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, is the team's starting running back. Rapper 50 Cent stood up to the challenge, standing behind his NY Giants.

Although, 50 Cent said he'd only take up to $1 million of the bet.... now online betting website betonline say they are

"prepared to take the $5 million dollar wager effective immediately!"

"If Birdman is prepared to put his money where his mouth is, we are prepared to accept his $5 million wager on either the point spread or the money line of Super Bowl XLVI."

Think that's too much money to bet on a game?

So does 50 Cent, because just moments after, he decided to back out of the bet entirely and we don't blame him!

Putting the mob on a reality show may not have been the best thing for them, ya think?

DEA and FBI agents arrested four members of the Bonanno organized crime family early Friday for alleged crimes that include racketeering, gambling and drug sales.

Anthony Graziano -- a Bonanno family captain whose daughter Renee Graziano stars on the reality show "Mob Wives" -- was also charged. Anthony was already in custody on a prior conviction.

If convicted, each defendant faces up to 20 years in prison.

The arrests are the latest in the federal government's investigation of the Bonanno crime family which has resulted in the prosecution of more than 175 members and associates of the family, officials said.

So far, more than 10 Bonanno family bosses, acting bosses and administration members have been convicted.

The suspects are due back in court on Feb. 7.

After "Mob Wives" star Renee Graziano heard the news about her dad, sources say she collapsed, had a panic attack and was rushed to a NYC hospital. A rep confirms Renee is still getting treatment right now.

In a horrible twist for Renee -- her ex-husband and her son AJ's father played a role in her father's arrest.... Hector "Junior" Pagan, who's appeared on the VH1 show, has reportedly turned rat for the DEA!!!

Renee wrote on her Twitter after the arrests,

Sources say Demi was clearly smoking something and, we hear, inhaling nitrous oxide (whip-its) with her daughter right there.

Just 2 weeks ago in Demi and her daughter were spotted partying together in Hollywood...

Sources say Demi has also been addicted to Red Bull for about a decade now, which could have helped lead to her being rushed to the hospital as well. Friends say she was starting to replace meals with the energy drink.

Isn't Twitter supposed to be about FREE speech?

Why do we feel like since 2012 has gotten here, our freedom just seems to be slipping more and more away? Twitter has promoted itself as a beacon of free speech.... but now Twitter says it has the power to block tweets in a specific country if the government legally requires it to do so! This has triggered an outrage around the world....

Back in August we told you that the Police Departments have organized special units just to monitor your Social Media status updates. Now they have stepped it up a notch, with the FEDS and the Government stepping in.... which some people feel are threatening our civil liberties.

This all comes just months after United States, Eqypt, United Kingdom and other countries organized freedom protests via Twitter and other social networks.... and also comes just days after congress tried to almost shut down all of our favorite websites with the SOPA & PIPA acts.

Twitter insists that it remains fully committed to free speech though. It used to be that if Twitter removed a tweet, it vanished from the Web. Now a tweet that violates the law in one country will still be visible in the rest of the world.

A censorship notice will be posted by Twitter whenever a tweet is removed, similar to what Google does. Twitter also says it would not remove any tweets unless it is legally required to do so, and then only after an internal review.

Demi Moore Rushed To Hospital

Could her divorce to Ashton be taking a toll on her?

It has been reported that Monday late night, Demi Moore was rushed to a Los Angeles area Hospital for treatment of substance abuse and exhaustion.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,"

her rep said in a statement.

"She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

"Demi had been sober for a long time -- decades -- but recently it's gotten bad,"

the insider continues...

"Ashton loves her, but he can't stick around and watch her do this to herself."

*Ashton Kutcher didn't seem mto miss a beat while Demi was rushed to the hospital...he was allegedly partying Tuesday in Sao Paulo, Brazil at a Bruno Mars concert and a nightclub.

*Sources are reporting that Demi Moore was doing "whip-its" before being rushed to the hospital with seizure-like symptoms!

A friend at the scene told emergency workers that the ailing actress had actually inhaled a dangerous amount of nitrous oxide before collapsing from, as her rep described it, "exhaustion".

According to The National Enquirer O.J. Simpson told a number of friends that he was Khloe Kardashian’s dad. The magazine has more than one source that claim Kris Jenner had an affair with O.J. Simpson right around the time that Khloe was conceived.

“O.J. bragged about his sex life and many female conquests, which he said included some of his best friends’ wives......He used to tell us way back — even before he and Nicole got divorced — that he had a love child with the wife of a wealthy family,”

the source is claiming.

Robert Kardashian and his wife Kris were friends with O.J. before the late lawyer helped the former NFL star off for the double murder charges of his wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.

"It was the big secret that no one in the two families would discuss. And Robert admitted he and Kris were not having sex at the time Khloe was conceived,"

added the source.

Robert was best friends O.J. was even an usher at his wedding to Kris in 1978. Kris was also close to O.J., as well as his wife Nicole.

"O.J and Kris have known each other for more than 30 years. But they fell out when Nicole was murdered."

Well, even though this must be extremely hard on Khloe, Kim and her mom are having fun mocking on Twitter to lighten up the situation. Kim tweeted,

“It makes sense now! Khloe, u are so tan!”

Kris Jenner followed with

”Thanks for all your love and support today dolls!....Wow some of the stories out there today are either fabricated, or SO 24 years ago!!”

Khloe also chimed in her frustration by tweeting,

Word has it, Jay-Z's 40/40 Club was closed down briefly due to a health code inspection that led to a bunch of Health Code Violations.

The violations range from hot food being left out on the counter ... to a refrigerator being kept at 60° rather than the required 41° ... to a worker seen mixing salsa with his bare hands... Really tho? EWW!!

A rep for the club says the fridge was fixed by noon the next day and the club was permitted to re-open.

He adds... the club lost no business as a result of the issue and their health code grade is currently pending review.

Former Penn State Coach Joe Paterno Dead At 85

After conflicting reports, former Penn State coach, Joe Paterno has been confirmed dead.

Initially CBS news and a Penn State student website broke the story that former Penn State coach Joe Paterno had passed, but as the word got out, those reports were quickly shot by Joe's family as "erroneous."

Although, just moments after, Joe's family ended up sending out an official press release on their own stated that Joe was indeed passed,

"He died as he lived. He fought hard until the end, stayed positive, thought only of others and constantly reminded everyone of how blessed his life had been. His ambitions were far reaching, but he never believed he had to leave this Happy Valley to achieve them. He was a man devoted to his family, his university, his players and his community."

CBS Sports apologized to the Paterno family and the Penn State community and the managing editor of the Penn State student website, Onward State, resigned due to the reports.

Paterno had been in the hospital since Jan. 13 for observation for what his family had called minor complications from his cancer treatments. Paterno was described as frail then, speaking mostly in a whisper and wearing a wig.

The front page Penn State's athletic department website was updated with simply a picture of Paterno pictured above.

This all comes just a few months after Joe Paterno was fired from coaching at Penn State.....for allegedly witnessing another coach rape male students in the locker room and not reporting it.

Could we lose our freedom online forever?

This week some of the biggest websites and search engines in the world, like Wikipedia and Google, blacked out their sites. It was all in protest of the new internet bills Congress is currently trying to pass........the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) that would end up striping us all from our freedom of information and speech online.

End Piracy, Not Liberty! Sign This & Pass On If You Want Freedom Online!

After lots of backlash.... President Obama stopped SOPA and PIPA from passing, and both bills have been put on "hold."

But on the flip side, ANOTHER legislation was introduced this week to combat online piracy....

Meet the "OPEN" Act:

OPEN would give oversight to the International Trade Commission (ITC) instead of the Justice Department, focuses on foreign-based websites, includes an appeals process, and would apply only to websites that "willfully" promote copyright violation. SOPA and PIPA, in contrast, would enable content owners to take down an entire website, even if just one page on it carried infringing content, and imposed sanctions after accusations -- not requiring a conviction.

While our President was fighting for our internet freedom, somehow he managed to make his way around the country, even sung a lil' Al green.....

The FBI isn't playing!

Extradition proceedings have begun in New Zealand to bring Megaupload, file sharing website, founder Kim Dotcom (aka Kim Schmitz) to the United States to face charges of racketeering, money laundering, and Internet piracy.

This all comes just a day after major websites like Wikipefia blacked out out their sites in protest against the SOPA and PIPA bills censoring the internet. Once Megaupload was shutdown by the FBI, hackers fired back big time.

An anonymous hacker, managed to cripple the U.S. government and music industry websites by shutting them all down! The US Copyright Office, Universal Music, the RIAA , BMI and Warner Music Group were all taken over by hackers in protest but soon revived after stirring up commotion.

The U.S. Justice Department has accused founder of Megaupload, Kim DotCom, 37, along with six other people, of operating a huge criminal enterprise as part of his cyberlocker service Megaupload, which over the past several years has emerged as one of the most popular destinations for online video. Federal officials say DotCom and his alleged accomplices pocketed millions of dollars in loot and cost the film industry more than $600 million in damages.

Their lawyer dismissed the government's attempt to file criminal charges against his clients.

"Many of the allegations made are similar to those in the copyright case filed against YouTube and that was a civil case....and YouTube won."

Still police raided Kim's home removing and seizing 18 vehicles, including a vintage pink Cadillac, a Lamborghini, a 2010 Maserati, and 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom. Ironically... some of his plates read things like, "Mafia Hacker," "Stoned," and "Guilty." Go figure.

But Kim didn't go without a fight. When police came to his door, he tried to evade arrest, according to authorities.

"Despite our staff clearly identifying themselves, Mr Dotcom retreated into the house and activated a number of electronic locking mechanisms,"

Detective Inspector Grant Wormald said in a report,

"While police neutralized these locks he then further barricaded himself into a safe room within the house which officers had to cut their way into."

They said they found Kim with a shotgun by his side but he was arrested without further incident.

TSA Rolls Out New Security Checkpoints w/ Background Checks

Mind handing over your privacy for quicker travel?

The Transportation Security Administration rolled out PreCheck, the expedited security program for pre-screened fliers, this week at Los Angeles International Airport, the sixth airport in the nation to participate in the pilot program since it started last year.

In an announcement Wednesday, the TSA said the program at LAX so far is available only to American Airlines frequent fliers at two checkpoints in Terminal 4.

Here's how it works: Fliers who are U.S. citizens provide personal information and undergo background checks to qualify for traveler programs approved by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, such as Global Entry, SENTRI and NEXUS. Once fliers are deemed eligible, they are allowed to keep their shoes and belts on and leave laptops and 3-1-1 liquids inside their carry-on bags.

Passengers receive boarding passes embedded with a bar code that signals to the TSA they are eligible for PreCheck. They may then be screened at a fast lane where they forgo the shoes-and-belt routine. But this doesn't mean PreCheck passengers get a pass. Their bags are still scanned for security, and they're still subject to random security checks like everyone else, according to the TSA.

Airports in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Miami and Las Vegas also have PreCheck screening. The program is supposed to be rolled out to more airports later this year, including JFK Airport in New York.

How do you qualify for PreCheck? Passengers who are frequent fliers (at LAX, that means those enrolled in American's AAdvantage program) may be invited to join by the airline. Interested fliers also may learn about traveler programs and how to apply at the U.S. Customs website.

This is only one of TSA's plans to amp up their security in order to "help you get through the line faster." Back in June we showed you these new futuristic security checkpoints...that will have you scanning your eye if you really want to get to your destination.

Terrell Owens announces his move from NFL to IFL, is this a good move?

In a short video through Twitter on Jan. 18, Terrell Owens made his official announcement that he's going to be playing football in Dallas again...only this time it will not be for the NFL..... Terrell will be joining the Indoor football League.

The deal is reportedly worth up to $500,000 for the 2012 season. Most IFL players make a base salary of $225 per game, plus a bonus for winning. Last time Terrell was in Texas with the Dallas Cowboys in '06, he was signed to a 3 year, $25 million deal, including a $5 million signing bonus, with a $5 million first year salary.

So it's quite a bit of a downgrade for him but apparently Merell won't only be a player, he is also part owner of the Indoor Football League's Allen Wranglers.

An end to the internet as we know it?

2012 is here and the start to the end of the world as we know it, could be coming around faster than you think. At this moment congress is trying to pass a law that could end your freedom online and shut down your favorite websites, such as Twitter, and Youtube. It will also alter and stop you from being able to do certain research online, even health & history research....which all would stop you from having your freedom of information AND speech online!

It's kind of like an Internet Lock Out.... Almost like the NFL & NBA lockouts, only this one would go on forever and never get unlocked.

The two bills before Congress are known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House. They would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business.

We understand the need to stop piracy but there are more effective ways of doing so than taking away all online freedom.

In an effort to stop this bill from being passed some of THE biggest websites and search engines, such as Wikipedia, have shut down their sites today in protest.

THIS BILL WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING IF WE DON'T STOP IT!!

Not only that, it's a gateway to allow them to restrict us in many other ways...

Remember what happened (and is still happening) in Egypt this time last year??

Egypt Shuts Down All Internet and Cellphone Services!

That would be catastrophic in the United States. Let's stop this from ever happening.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA and have contacted their congress reps...if you want to keep your freedom, now it's your turn!

From the Billboard charts to the weed shops, Beyonce and Jay-Z's newborn has everyone talking!

This week Blue Ivy Carter made her debut to the world... and Beyonce and Jay-Z didn't hold back for their baby girl.

They rented out basically an entire VIP suite floor, for about $3,200 a night, at the Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC.

We hear Jay Z and Beyoncé made a very large donation to Lenox Hill Hospital several months ago of at least $100k that most likely paid for the construction of these VIP suites..

But representatives at Lenox Hill are still denying reports that Jay-Z and Beyonce had the suites built just for them. Instead, the hospital says, they just happened to be lucky enough to be the first to use it!

And by the time Blue Ivy Carter popped out of Beyonce, she was already breaking world records!.... Not only is she now the youngest person ever on the Billboard charts, she's also the youngest person to have their own marijuana brand.

Yup, Jay-Z & Beyonce aren't the only one's with a Blue Ivy, now you can find "OG Blue Ivy" at your local weed shop....

A month after New England quarterback Tom Brady won the first game in Denver.....Tim Tebow and the Broncos had another shot at the AFC's No. 1 team...But Tom Brady and the New England Patriots weren't giving up that easy. The Patriots beat the Broncos 10-45, ending Tebow's streak.... and will now advance to next week's AFC Championship.

CBS wants Tim Tebow to join its broadcast as a guest analyst for the AFC Championship game between New England and Baltimore.

"We've had conversations with his (Tebow's) people," CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus told the USA Today's Michael Hiestand. "We have a request in. We haven't heard back.

Tebow is expected to inform the CBS suits by midweek if he'll be hanging with Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Dan Marino on the CBS set.

UPDATE: 1/18

Tebow has turned down the offer to appear as a studio analyst on CBS’during the playoffs..so we shall see him next season...starting for the Denver Broncos.

If you missed it, Common has been going extra hard at Drake and calling him out on songs...

So during an interview on Sirius radio, Common wanted to clear it up... claiming that his beef with Drake doesn’t have anything to do with Serena. Instead, it’s all about Hip-Hop and keeping it raw.

To me, you can express yourself in many different ways, but I was just missing that hardcore Hip Hop, that raw Hip Hop sound, and I was just talking about it. I was saying, man, the song ‘Sweet’ was cats out there doing sweet music. Dude must have took offense to it, so he came out and said some things, and once he said something on record, I said something on record.

I just spoke up for the art of Hip Hop and what I feel about it, and I want everybody to know that Hip Hop is a diverse culture and it does have that boom bap to it too. Once he said something back, that’s when I said, aight, I guess you want to get in a battle with me. And if that’s what you want, then I’ll battle.

Is Lady Gaga stealing Madonna's style? The material girl is finally expressing herself about it.

Songs like "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga really have most thinking, is Lady Gaga influenced by Madonna or just flat out copying her whole swag?

Well, according to Madonna's latest interview on 20/20, it's clear in Madonna's mind that Gaga definitely is influenced by her...

"I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it's amusing and flattering and well done,....There's a lot of ways to look at it. I can't really be annoyed by it …because, obviously, I've influenced her."

But when does influence turn into mimicking?

Madonna, who's now 53, says she thinks Gaga and her team may have went a little overboard when it came to "Born This Way"....

"When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar....It feels reductive."

For the record, "reductive" means simplified or downgraded.... ouch! But Madonna kept it cute by adding,

"I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song...I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting."

Meanwhile Madonna is set to perform at this years Super Bowl halftime show.

Avator fans, it's going to take Mr. Cameron just a few more years to out-do the original...

Director of 3D animated film Avator, James Cameron, just a few months ago said he anticipated Avator 2 releasing sometime in 2014 or 2015. Now the producer, Jon Landau has announced a different date, as late as 2016.

Allegedly a source said today,

"According to Landau this morning, the first sequel is 'four years away.' So that's 2016 by a literal count, though we could be bendy and assume that Christmas 2015 would also be an option. Expect Avatar 3 a year later, as the performance capture and cinematography would take place back-to-back with the second film."

We hear James Cameron wants to push the envelope even more on Avator 2, filming at 60 frames per second.... as opposed to the industry standard, 24 frames per second.

The development of the original Avator began in 1994 so were hoping this next one comes out sooner!

There's always that one child that looks different from the rest, but does that mean she has a different dad?

Khloe Kardashian has always looked like the "different" one, compared to her sisters Kim & Kourtey, and now her former step mothers are saying it's all because Robert Kardashian is not her biological father!

Jan Ashley and Ellen Kardashian, who were each married to Robert after he split from Kris Jenner, both recently claimed Robert privately revealed to them that Khloe was fathered by another man.

Jan Ashley who is now 63 revealed to the Star tabloid magazine,

"Khloe is not his kid -- he told me that after we got married..."

"He just kind of looked at me and said [it] like it was a matter of fact. He said, 'Well, you know that Khloe's not really a Kardashian, don't you?' And I said…'OK,' and that was it."

Ellen Kardashian, 63, married Robert in 2003 just two months before his death, after dating for nearly six years and she is now coming forward to say...

"Khloe brought it up all the time....She looked nothing like the rest. She was tall, had a different shape, light hair, curly hair. Didn't look anything like the other three children."

And while Kris recently admitted in her new book that she cheated on Robert during their marriage, both Jan and Ellen said they've always known she cheated, and so did Robert.

"Robert did question the fact that Khloe was his....Any normal man would if they knew their wife had cheated on him."

Ellen claims Robert told her that he and Kris weren't even sleeping together at the time Khloe was conceived.

"[But] he never would have considered a DNA test....He loved her very much."

Could you imagine if you were Khloe and you had to wake up to this in a magazine?

For that reason Khloe Kardashian is lashing out at them, claiming the women should be "ashamed" and fired back on her Twitter page saying,

"The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this! Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)."

Kim Kardashian is backing up her sister, claiming Robert Kardashian is 100% Khloe's biological father.

We feel bad about this whole situation, because #1 it's not anyone's position but Khloe or her moms to tell the world, #2 he probably is her dad and she just looks different and been hearing that her whole life....... and most importantly, #3 either way! Robert Kardashian is the man who raised her as her dad...so to tell the world that she's not his child, especially for money, is just plain hurtful.

After investigating more, there IS indeed paperwork from Robert Kardashian himself, stating he IS Khloe's dad!

Back in 1999, Robert was seeking to have his 2nd marriage annulled from Jan Ashley...so he submitted a declaration to the judge stating that the marriage did not work because Jan wanted to have his child and he did not.

In the declaration, Robert says,

"I decided that since I already had four biological children, I did not wish to have any more."

Khloe's mom & manager, Kris Jenner, spoke out this morning saying,

“Get a life"

on Good Morning America, claiming that she never heard such crap in her life and,

"it just gets weirder and weirder."

It's just sad that it had to come this far to have to PROVE this anyone.

This means at this point she beats out all other female or male rappers...even her bosses Lil' Wayne and Birdman.

Somehow Snoop Dogg managed to get arrested for smoking his medically prescribed marijuana.. problem is, apparently it's legal in just about every state BUT Texas...and that's where Snoop got arrested. They have a zero tolerance for it and issued him a citation for misdemeanor drug possession.

Snoop Dogg was released but if he's actually convicted on the drug charge, he could face up to 180 days in jail.

Way to kick off the first week of 2012! Congrats Carter fam!

Despite all the "fake baby-bump" rumors and reports that she already had her baby.... Beyonce and Jay-Z's new baby girl is here!

Saturday night (January 7, 2012) about 10:30pm the news came in that Beyonce gave birth via C-section to a baby girl, Ivy Blue Carter.

Blue Ivy Carter, we love it. Blue is Jay's favorite color, which he has branded as "Jay-Z blue".... and IV is the number four, which we know means a lot to Beyonce and was also the title of her last album.

The name is not totally confirmed but most sources say Jay-Z has told friends this.... although, some reports say her name is actually Ivy Blue.

Rihanna didn't say the baby's name, but did let the world know the news by sending out a Tweet....

"Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."

Reports say that Beyoncé & Jay-Z, paid more than $1.3 million to rent out an entire fourth floor of New York's Lennox Hill Hospital to have the baby. Word is, Beyonce checked in under the alias, “Ingrid Jackson” and had all staff shut down cell phones in preparation of the birth.

What's next for Beyonce, Jay-Z and little Ivy? ... Reports said the couple original purchased a home in Miami to raise her...but then ending up selling it. However, Jay-Z did buy Beyonce her very own private island, off the shore of Florida, on her birthday last year... so maybe they will spending time raising the baby there?

Jay-Z allegedly dished out $20,000,000 for this island. Must be nice!

Jay-Z and Beyonce released a joint statement officially announcing the new baby girl...

“Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.”

“Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."

Rihanna's New Year just got better. The "We Found Love" pop star was named this week as the top ranking artist on Nielsen SoundScan's Top Ten Selling Digital Artists list.

On the chart that tracks digital sales from July 4, 2004 to January 1, 2012, Rihanna is credited with selling 47.5 million units.

Rihanna is more than 5 million sold digital tracks ahead of her closest contenders, the Black Eyed Peas, Eminem and Lady Gaga, who have each sold in the 42 million range. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Kanye West, and Britney Spears round out the top 10 list.

Despite Rihanna's overall ranking, she did not place, however, on the Top Ten Selling Digital Songs or Top Ten Selling Digital Albums lists. The Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga have two songs each on the digital songs ranking.

Casey Anthony is now attempting to be a video blogger???

Casey, who was found not guilty of her daughter Caylee's murder in July 2011, broke silence in a 4.5 minute bizarre video of her "1st video diary", which was said to be recorded in October of 2011.

Casey says it's finally "something she can call her own".... and calls it a "blessing."

Can't help but to shake our heads over and over again at this one....

More photos and video of Casey is being revealed..but quite honestly we will not be posting them any further. We feel this may be a plot to help Casey sell a book or something or the sort.

Although, Casey Anthony's defense attorney Cheney Mason says that Casey was not responsible for posting the video to YouTube, saying the material was meant to be private and part of counseling.

"Casey has been keeping notes and memoirs, particularly for her personal use for future counseling. This will help her remember her thought processes," Mason said in a statement. "She did not upload or publish this to YouTube. She does not know who did it. When they did it. Why they did it. It was not authorized, therefore it had to be obtained criminally by an illegal act."

Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, were also taken by surprise with the video's appearance. Their attorney says,

"They are concerned that the release of this video or any future videos could endanger their daughter.....Cindy and George hope that Casey remains safe wherever she may be."

Looks like that's rapper 50 Cent's tactics in 2012, because he went off on Interscope boss Jimmy Iovine for not putting out his music properly.

“Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine, call me early tomorrow or I'm putting out another mix tape,”

50 Cent tweeted from his Twitter account on New Years Eve (December 31, 2011).

“I have lost all the faith in the team I'm on. I having nothing left to say I will not be promoting my music.”

Then he began to sound a bit depressed and concerned for his well-being saying,

“Ill be honest I don't think I'm gonna live much longer. That's why I started my street king movement. I want to mean more in other peoples lives.”

50 Cent outburst appeared to pop upright after a leak of his single “Girls Go Wild” featuring Jeremih.... released ahead of schedule according to 50.

“Man interscope put out the single art saying its coming out on the 31st but its not coming out. I'm not putting my album out till we are all on the same page"

Russell Brand To Get 20 Million From Katy Perry After Divorce??

2012 hasn't even been a week in and we already have a major celebrity split... Russell Brand has officially divorced Katy Perry and we hear there is NO pre-nup!

Under California law, without a pre-nup, the couple, who met at the 2009 MTV Music Awards, must split their earnings 50/50...

Forbes magazine reports Katy, 27, is worth at least $44 million.

So that means Russell Brand could get at least 20 Mil!

A big reason for their split? .... Supposedly Russell was much more of a homebody than Katy. Katy loved going out and partying, while Russell (who is sober) didn't enjoy the scene at all. We're told he would often insist on leaving places early and asking her to come with him... which would trigger an argument.

Russell released a statement Friday announcing the divorce:

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”

Divorce papers filed by Russell Brand’s lawyers at Los Angeles Superior Court cited

“irreconcilable differences.”

Sources allegedly are saying that

"Katy is hardly speaking to anyone right now, but she called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce,..."

"When Katy told her the news, she suggested flying down to Barbados to stay with her and her family."

Not sure if Katy ended up taking her up on the offer because Rihanna has since flown to Miami, and spent New Year's Eve at Sean "Diddy" Combs' mansion on Star Island.

Earlier this week you may have heard rumors that Beyonce was in labor, inside of New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt hospital from a supposed "staffer" who spilled the beans. Then on New Years Eve that she had actually given birth to a baby girl by the name of "Tiana-May Carter."

And fueling the rumors even more, Ryan Seacrest told the entire world during "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve" broadcast that,

"Obviously, Beyoncé couldn't be here tonight because she's about to give birth to her first child."

But according to sources and these photos below... Beyonce, Jay-Z and their UN-BORN child were actually having a quiet New Year's Eve dinner at Buttermilk Channel restaurant in Brooklyn with Beyonce's sister. Meaning she could NOT have been in labor at the hospital.

Not long after her sister, Solange, tweeted:

"Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!"
